Project description
Barcelona central railway station remodelling for the connection Barcelona-Madrid with AVE (high velocity train)
- Rehabilitated slab area: 8740 m2
- Under slab lintel span: 31,5 m
- Downstand lintel span: 36 m
Technical data
Roof composed by a post-tensioned waffle slab of 120cm height. Some ribes were been cut for the positioning of new stairs stories.
Some the waffle slab supports (with 1.000t axil) had been cut to permit the AVE pass. The load of the supports had been transferred to huge trusses with span up to 36m.
